The Erection of the Gate and Fence at Adegbola Street, by the Pedestrian Bridge
The erection of the gate and fence at Adegbola was undertaken to enhance security, as the area serves as a major access route connecting Abeokuta Expressway, Iyana Ipaja, and Egbeda.
Prior to the installation of the gate, residents of ALRA experienced incidents of theft, which investigations revealed were facilitated by unauthorised access through the street and pedestrian entrances. To address this challenge, the gate was introduced and is operated daily, opening at 5:00 a.m. and closing at 10:00 p.m. Since its installation, the gate has effectively curtailed unauthorised access and has significantly improved the security and safety of residents within the ALRA community.
